Clamps can make or ruin a long ready piece of work.
Buying a convenient clamp can be like entering a minefield of inherent disaster, but with the anticipation of a duct towards a prosperous conclusion.
Clamps can come to be a joiner's passion!

I have used many varying kinds of clamp, paid ridiculous prices in those storage store of orange and blue, and have amassed a variety of clamps that adorn my workshop.
My most costly clamp is ironically my least used.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Pony clamp. It offers exquisite compression, virtually no lateral movement and is a real bargain at the price.
How I would have loved a merge of these worthy claps when I struggled with the headboard of my bed!

If you need to join boards, frames, doors etc you need at least four sets of these clamps.
You'll need some varying distance of iron pipe to match.
For the price it would be hard to do better!

Update

Actually, you can do better, Big Lots have a similar clamp for half the price.
